McHale Orbital High Speed Round Bale Wrapper
The McHale Orbital Wrapper is a high speed solution which delivers consistent and even overlap for optimum levels of fodder preservation and quality.
The McHale Orbital Wrapper delivers a high output, low maintenance machine which is capable of keeping up with multiple balers.
The McHale Patented High Speed Transfer System is utilised where, as the arm moves the bale towards the wrapping ring, the wrapping roller closest to the tractor moves out of the way which reduces the height the bale has to travel to get to the wrapper. This allows the bale to move from the ground to the wrapping platform in a smooth quick manner reducing stress on the machine and delivering maximum output.
With the use of the Patented Tip Roller, the McHale Orbital Bale Wrapper can easily wrap bales from
1 meter to 1.45 meters. This is carried out by automatically adjusting the roller height in line with the size of the bale to ensure the wrapping ring always applies the plastic to the centre of the bale regardless of the size of the bale.
The high speed vertical wrapping ring can apply 4 layers of film to a 1.25 meter bale in approximately 18 seconds or 6 layers in under 25 seconds.
Two 750mm Dispensers are fitted for the wrapping film and film break sensors notify the operator through the control box in the tractor cab. If one dispenser should run out, the Orbital Bale Wrapper will continue working and automatically slow bale rotation and increase the number of rotations of the wrapping ring to ensure that the round bale is wrapped correctly. Wrapping Film can be easily loaded from the left hand side of the machine.
The McHale Orbital High Speed Round Bale Wrapper is equipped with The Expert Plus Control Console which provides clear indicators of machine performance on its large graphic display.
McHale 991LB Round Bale Wrapper
The McHale 991L range of linkage round bale wrappers is the farmer’s first choice for wrapping bales at the storage site. The McHale 991L range of linkage round bale wrappers offers the perfect blend of tried and tested technology with solid construction and dependable performance
The high output 991L range will give you a tightly wrapped bale that increases feed quality and contains natural juices for greater nutritional value while also giving increased environmental protection.
The McHale 991L range of linkage round bale wrapper is a manual machine where a series of four levers control the bale wrapping functions and can be powered from a tractor or an independent power pack. The control valve can either be mounted beside the dispenser post or just outside the tractor cab.
The wrapping table is made up of four heavy duty belts which ensure smooth and even bale rotation even when dealing with loose or asymmetric round bales.
The Bale Wrapper is fitted with a 750mm aluminium dispenser which maintains a consistent stretch to maximise film usage. The unit consists of two aluminium rollers which are geared to each other with robust steel gears of different ratios. Film loading is made easy with the dispenser lock and load system.
The McHale hydraulically operated cut and hold system cuts and holds the film in position ready to wrap the next bale avoiding having to manually reattach the film. This system works reliably and consistently in all weather conditions.
The in-cab control unit on the 991L linkage round bale wrapper enables the operator to change the number of table rotations and select the number of film layers while also allowing the operator to store bale totals from different jobs.
McHale 991 High Speed Bale Wrapper
The 991 High Speed Bale Wrapper was introduced by McHale for the 2010 season. It delivers 50% more output and sets the pace for efficient and effective round bale wrapping. The 991 High Speed Wrapper features practical design, quality components and precision engineering making it the first choice for contractors and farmers.
The lift arm can be activated with the press of a button which will load the bale and return the lift arm to a position which is clear of the table before the wrapping cycle begins. The cut and tie system cuts and holds the film in position ready to wrap the next bale so there is no need to reattach manually. Film loading is made easy with the dispenser lock and load system.
The uniquely designed Damper System is one of the most important features of the McHale Bale wrapper. It gently lowers the bale down to the ground which in turn eliminates the stress of the chassis of the machine.
Film break sensors monitor the plastic as it is being applied to the bale and will notify the operator through the control box of any problems.
